It’s not just learning that happens outside of one’s comfort zone but also the discovery that limitations are self-afflicted. Things that seemed crazy impossible 2 years ago in my own life (a loving home, having my own toys) are just natural now. So what difficult things do you want to make feel natural in 2 years?

We’re starting the day right, gentle, no rush, a little exercise, a little fun (see here), but the evenings can use some improvement. Missy showed me the video of this lady who’s doing some movement every evening for the duration of 1-2 songs. It sounds perfect, I’m always up for a little fun.
We’ll start with one song, any movement will be acceptable, stretch, dance, weights, but we’ll do it together, and we’ll do it before going to the bedroom. And we’ll do it every night this week – no miss!

We’ll do a weekly challenge for the rest of 3 weeks as well: what are your suggestions for beginners like us? Any exercise, eating, or other health habits are welcome.
Love, Mia
April health challenge update:
– Did Missy order food? Almost did twice but no in the end!
– Did we both eat veggie/fruit for every meal? Yes, except snacks 🙂
– Did we exercise? No
– Did we take 7k steps? Yes
– Did Missy visit at least 3 blogs in the challenge? Yes
A year from now – u may wish u shud have started earlier – thats so true!
Good luck to Mia with all adventures

Amazing weekly challenge! Have you considered maybe a week of daily reading? Or meditation?

I like those, good idea! Meditation is closer to our topic of health, I think I’ll do that. Thank you for the suggestion!

Taking up the challenge of cooking everything from scratch is one I took up two years ago, small steps at a time, and I found something fun and healthy to do (making your own food is much healthier than buying stuff — you know exactly what’s in it!).
I’ll try out moving for a song or two at a time… sounds like something I can do with my Rottweilers!

My only issue is that I find cooking boring… and can never stick to the original recipe for that same reason! 🙈

A year from now… Yes, I’m happy that there’s a team proyect we’ve postponed for over a year and we’ve started this week! Sciatic nerve has been bothering, but I took it easy and did my stretching. A good start of the week.
